EAST END FOR OPPORTUNITY MISSION
In Suffolk County, the Town of East Hampton has the highest percentage of people who live in poverty. These residents of limited financial means face a wide variety of human service needs. The mission of East End for Opportunity (EEFO) is to identify these needs, to determine the feasibility and extent of EEFO’s involvement in addressing solutions, and to assist local organizations which are engaged in doing so.
The most important recent EEFO work has been in Food Security, Educational and Vocational Assistance, Community Outreach, and Legal Assistance. You can learn about our accomplishments on the EEFO PROGRAMS page and the LEGAL ASSISTANCE page.
EEFO provides its services to East End residents of all racial, religious, and ethnic groups.
EEFO is a New York State not-for-profit corporation that is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)3 charity. Donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
